Kentucky Retail Federation Self Insurers Fund
In 1994, the Board of Directors and membership of the Kentucky Retail Federation identified a need for specialized workers’ compensation coverage in regards to the Commonwealth’s retail and service operations. The Federation established KRFSIF to meet the unique requirements for all Kentucky retailers and service industry. Today, the Fund is proud to celebrate over 20 years of service insuring a broad range of retail and service sectors, from large multiple facility businesses to “mom and pop” operations. KRFSIF is governed by a Board of Directors and the Department of Insurance. The Fund is managed by CCMSI, a leading third party administrator for workers’ compensation and property/casualty self‐insurance programs. Since 1978, CCMSI has successfully administered and provided claims services to more than 400 individual and group clients nationwide. CCMSI has a 98% satisfaction rate, which is unparalleled in the industry.

The KRF is a non-profit trade association created to improve the retail business climate in Kentucky. Members come from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and are as diverse as the products they sell, from department and drug stores to hardware, apparel, and building supply retailers.
